What data we collect

When you fill in the enquiry form on our contact page, we collect:

• Your full name
• Your business or trade
• Your phone number
• Your email address
• The town or area you cover
• Any message or details you choose to include

We don't use cookies to track you for advertising purposes. If website analytics are enabled, they use a cookie-free service (Cloudflare Web Analytics) that doesn't collect personal identifiers.

Why we collect it

We use the information you submit to:

• Respond to your enquiry
• If you decide to go ahead, build and run the website and enquiry service described on this site
• Keep a record of genuine enquiries for billing purposes if you become a client (see how it works)

Our legal basis for processing this data is legitimate interest (responding to enquiries you've chosen to send us) and, where you become a client, performance of the contract between us.

How long we keep it

If you submit an enquiry and don't go on to become a client, we keep your details for a reasonable period to allow for follow-up, then delete them. If you become a client, we keep your details for as long as we're providing the service, plus a short period afterwards for our own records, in line with normal UK record-keeping practice.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your data to third parties. Enquiry form submissions are processed by our form provider (Formspree) purely to deliver the submission to us — they are not used for marketing to you by that provider.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to ask us what personal data we hold about you, to correct it if it's wrong, and to ask us to delete it. To do any of this, email tradesgetdiscovered@gmail.com and we'll action your request.

We may update this notice as the business develops. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
